JOIN THE GROOVE CREW

01

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

01

BOX OFFICE & REGISTRATION

Your mission will be to guarantee a seamless check-in experience for all our guests, from general ticket holders to musicians and sponsors. This involves: operating our easy-to-use ticketing system, organizing credentials, providing event materials, and being the warm, professional voice of our event.

02

green room & hospitality

This essential role involves creating a comfortable and clean sanctuary for all our artists and performers, ensuring they feel valued and cared for before and after their performance. You'll help curate and manage refreshments and meals, guaranteeing a seamless, stress-free backstage experience.

03

general site operations

This crucial role supports the entire physical footprint of the festival, transforming the grounds from an empty space into a fully functional event, and back again. Volunteers on the operations team will be performing a wide variety of duties including: sanitation, waste management, parking lot management, and campsite guidance. This is a fast-paced role perfect for those who enjoy physical work and  love being part of a team.

04

GUEST SERVICES

This interactive and front-facing role will include manning and operating the information booth, lost & found, and merchandise tent.  Duties include walking festival guests through the online purchasing process for merchandise, answering questions, cataloging and organizing lost items, and providing materials and essentials for festival attendees in need.

05

AFTER HOURS

The lights may be out on the mainstage but the show must still go on.  This is the crew for all you late nighters, 3rd shifters, and I’ll-sleep-when-I’m-dead folks.  Volunteering to work after hours will include grounds cleanup, assisting with off hours check-ins and entrance, and ensuring the facilities are stocked and ready for the next day of the festival to start off in spectacular fashion.  (just my late night brain example of a possible new section for opportunity)

06

SETUP & TEAR DOWN

Volunteers from any of the teams are eligible to opt in for setup and teardown of the festival infrastructure.  However, volunteer hours given to setup and teardown do not count towards the 16-hour work requirement.  Instead, those of you who opt in for the infrastructure crew will receive early entry and/or late checkout in exchange for your extra contribution to the event. You must be able to lift at least 50lbs and tolerate a day of manual labor on your feet.

02

key elements of the volunteer program

Before you apply, please review the essential requirements and logistics of the volunteer program below. This section covers your time commitment, the process for Volunteer Tickets and reimbursement, physical requirements, and details regarding scheduling and camping. Understanding these elements is crucial for a successful and enjoyable experience on the team!

01

REQUIREMENTS

To join our volunteer program, you must be at least 18 years old and commit to working a minimum of 16 hours over the weekend. You should be able to stand for up to 6 hours straight, and please note that some roles will require the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

02

volunteer tickets

Volunteers who are selected must purchase a ticket to secure their position. This ticket cost will be fully reimbursed once all required volunteer hours have been completed during the event.

03

weekend schedule

You can expect the full shift schedule to be released about seven days before the festival. We require all volunteers to be flexible, as duties and shift times may need to be adjusted based on immediate event needs.

04

set up & tear down

This crew requires physical stamina (ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for 6 hours) and a willingness to work beyond the 16-hour minimum. In exchange, volunteers in this role receive early access to the festival grounds.

05

CAMPING

All volunteers receive complimentary tent or car camping for the event weekend. If you wish to bring an RV, you must purchase the separate required RV Ticket alongside your volunteer ticket.
